Services
Six kinds of work cover nearly everything we get asked to clean around Florence: siding and brick, shingle roofs, painted and delicate surfaces, flat concrete, wood decks and fences, and gutters. Each one has its own page below with how the job runs and what we look for on Shoals houses.
The split that matters most is how the water hits. Roofs, vinyl, stucco and painted trim get a low-pressure soft wash, a cleaning mix that kills the algae and mildew, then a gentle rinse. Concrete, pavers and bare wood can take more pressure, and that is where a surface cleaner and a wand earn their keep. Picking the wrong one is how shingles lose granules and water ends up behind siding.
Storefronts, sidewalks and lot flatwork for businesses run through the concrete page, since the equipment and the process are the same, just on a bigger footprint and usually early, before the doors open.

House Washing
North-side mildew, spring pollen and red clay splash cleared at the right pressure.

Roof Cleaning
No high pressure on shingles, plants and gutters protected throughout.

Soft Washing
Low pressure, the right mix and enough dwell time to do the work.

Driveway and Concrete Cleaning
Red clay, oil and mildew lifted evenly with a surface cleaner, no stripes.

Deck and Fence Cleaning
Grey weathered wood lifted without raised grain, ready to stain when it dries.

Gutter Cleaning
Gutter cleaning in Florence, AL: leaves, oak tassels and pine straw cleared, downspouts flushed, and black tiger stripes brightened off the gutter faces in the same visit.
Which one do I need?
Start with what you are looking at. Black streaks running down a roof from the ridge are an algae, and what we do about those dark streaks explains why that never gets a pressure washer. Green film on the north side of the house, under the eaves or along the wall that faces the trees, is the same family of growth living on siding.
Yellow dust on everything in April is pollen. It settles on porch ceilings, screens, rails and window sills from March into May, and one wash once it stops falling takes it off without much fuss. Grey, fuzzy-looking wood on a deck or fence is weathering, and that calls for a different mix than wood that is just mildewed.
Dark rings and slick spots on a driveway or a shaded walk are mildew working into the concrete, and in this heat it tends to creep back within a year or two wherever the ground stays damp. Overflowing gutters with dark tiger stripes down the outside face are really two jobs, clearing the inside and brightening the outside.
Most houses are a mix, and that is fine. If the walls are the main worry, the write-up on vinyl and brick walls walks through how each one gets handled. Otherwise pick the closest page, or skip to the form and tell us what you see.
Getting a price
Send the town, the street and a photo or two of whatever is bugging you. Every job is priced in writing before we start, by the surface and its size, from a photo or a quick walk-around. We work Monday through Saturday, 7am to 6pm, and answer quote requests the same day. If the photo leaves a question, we ask it rather than guess.
